Oruemu “Rae” Onerhime is an Interior Designer and Image Consultant, philanthropist and motivational speaker. She provides clear visions, leadership and motivation in seemingly tough situations and is adept at mobilizing resources for the needy women and children in our society.

Rae has worked in both the public and private sectors in the United Kingdom and Nigeria. Between 1993 and 1995 she worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), in London where she was exposed to children with grave disabilities and medical challenges.

Working closely with various charity groups, Rae mobilized support to provide a well-managed play centre for Extra-curricular activities for the children.She also put together a database to monitor all gifts and donations from all over the world coming for the children into the play centre.

Her subsequent career took her to the then British Telecoms Plc. BT, a multinational sales and service company where she provided technical and administrative support to the Sales, Marketing, PR and the top hierarchy of Executive Management of the firm.

Since returning to Nigeria in 2003, Rae has focused on her Interior Design and Image Consultancy work where she helps people achieve a sophisticated and elegant blend of style and function whether in the office or home environment.

Working with other like-minds, Rae has pooled together resources for philanthropy work across the country; she continues to provide support for children and advocate better welfare for women and children.

Rae is a public speaker and works with organisations and schools to provide guidance to children in vulnerable circumstances whilst motivating youngsters through outdoor trips and visits to places of interest.

She is a graduate of English Language and Literature and is married with a daughter.
